One of the stories I'm most proud about Soy Andina is how we raised the money: almost entirely from individual donors. That's very rare for a documentary.

Lately, when other producers or non-profits ask me for advice on fundraising, I almost always end up suggesting they check out Marc Pitman's website. He's a fundraising coach whose Extreme Fundraising Blog I discovered about a year ago. We haven't met in person but we've exchanged emails and I really like his work.
