Do this now − click on Jaman. Even if you don't have time, just bookmark it. You won't regret it. There's a ton of new sites for uploading and watching movies, but I'm betting on Jaman. Incredible quality and a focus on world cinema that's building community around film. Kinda like....Soy Andina.

Disclosure: a friend of mine, Vanessa Arteaga, runs the Latin American division. She's also Peruvian-American so I'm even more biased. They set me up to host a community group.

Not sure where this is all going but this is the future, direct connections between storytellers and audiences, facilitated by the Net. The old model − depending entirely on gatekeepers like festivals and distributors to get your movie seen − is really old. I feel the urge to rant coming on...I'll stop here!
