What's next?

1. Submit to film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.
2. Make a DVD with extra material (especially of the Llamellin fiesta)
3. Fundraise: for festival submissions, outreach, costs to make DVD, a community project in Peru. More about all this soon.

A principios de año, encontre esta pagina web http://www.soyandina.com. La pagina fue hecha para promocionar la pelicula Soy Andina. Es la historia de dos mujeres (una peruana y otra peruano-nuyoriquena) que buscan sus raices en el folklore peruano.

Nelida regresa a Llamellin, un pueblito de los Andes, despues haber vivido 15 anos en Nueva York. Su sueno mas grande es poder auspiciar una fiesta patronal en su tierra.

Cynthia Paniagua es una bailarina de danza moderna, salsa, hip-hop, residente de Nueva York, hija de una enfermera peruana y musico nuyoriqueno que al conocer a Nelida descubre su necesidad de reconectarse con sus raices peruanas.

Director/productor es el Sr. Mitch Teplitsky, nuyorkino que empezo este proyecto a raiz de su amistad con Nelida. Esta pelicula le tomo 6 anos hacer y un sin mil de sacrificios y esfuerzos.
